Visa requirements for South Korea depend on your nationality and the purpose of your visit.

Getting tourist visa or short business visa is very easy compared to other countries.

 

You will be amazed how polite and fast works/papers are done in Korea. Service-industry is totally customer oriented.

Visa-free entry: Citizens of some countries can enter South Korea without a visa for a limited period of time. For example, citizens of the United States, Canada, Australia, and most European countries can stay in South Korea for up to 90 days without a visa. However, if you plan to work or study in South Korea, you will need a visa.

 

 

Visa-required entry: Citizens of some countries need to obtain a visa before traveling to South Korea. You can check the South Korean embassy website or contact the embassy directly to find out if you need a visa. Generally, you will need to provide a passport, a completed application form, a recent photograph, and other supporting documents such as an invitation letter from a sponsor in South Korea.

 

Visa types: There are several types of visas available depending on the purpose of your visit.

Tourist visa (C-3): This visa is for visitors who plan to stay in South Korea for up to 90 days for tourism purposes.

Business visa (C-2): This visa is for visitors who plan to engage in business activities such as attending meetings, conferences in South Korea.

Work visa (E): This visa is for visitors who plan to work in South Korea. You will need to have a job offer from a South Korean employer and meet certain qualifications.

Student visa (D-2): This visa is for visitors who plan to study at a South Korean educational institution for more than 90 days.

 

Application process: You can apply for a South Korean visa at a South Korean embassy or consulate in your home country. The application process typically involves submitting the required documents, paying a fee, and attending an interview if necessary.
